“Hey I’m AndyBot, your intelligent online resource!
Here’s a quick rundown of the features inside The TenderHood.”
The TenderHood wants to level the playing field.
“We are a supplier-centric, on-line Community matching small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) with opportunities to win new business in the public sector.”
“We use artificial intelligence (AI) and timely access to information to match a company’s capabilities with the right contracts (“tenders”), the right connections (“leads”), and the right market intelligence (“strategy”) to best position them to win more business.”
How do we do it?
Our map represents the online Community where SMEs compete for business. Each location offers tools targeted that help SMEs identify winnable opportunities, all under one roof (it’s a “TenderHood”)!
How does it work?
The map is interactive and the primary source of navigation around The TenderHood. A monthly subscription gives you unlimited access to all the functionality to identify opportunities and make connections.
“What are we missing?”
Are we missing a location? What else are you looking for to help you win contracts in the public sector? Let us know in our forums inside the pub and we will do our best to make it happen for you.
And for those of you who just love to read and learn more, here are some direct answers from our found Dave, who is often asked these questions.
What is our service?
The TenderHood is a cloud-based, integrated service that uses data aggregation and AI to deliver targeted information on government contracts to SME’s based on their business profile – e.g. size, location and public sector experience. The user interface is icon-based, in an easy-to-use format, using the image of a sports complex map to reinforce the notion of being on a playing field. Each building on the map has a specific function including access to tender alerts, on-line buyer & supplier contacts, and market intelligence data.
What is the problem suppliers are experiencing?
Despite public sector contracts being open to all organisations, it is not a level playing field. Statistics indicate that SMEs are awarded a significantly smaller percentage of public sector contracts vs. larger companies. Limitations on SME resources (people, time and money) act as a barrier to the bidding process, despite the fact that they are often more agile, innovative, and offer better value for money than their large competitors. Almost half of SMEs exploring the public sector for the first time don’t win a contract. Finding the right tender – one that matches their business strategy and capabilities – is both costly and time consuming. Current online resources to generate leads, establish connections and identify viable tenders are technologically clunky, widely dispersed and not targeted or easily identifiable to small businesses. Moreover, most services require expensive contracts and limited searches.
How does The TenderHood solve this problem?
We aggregate data from multiple sources and use AI (in a personified form known as “AndyBot”) to deliver contract opportunities and contact information that match an SME’s business strategy and profile. Included in this functionality is the ability for the user to identify the tenders we find them as a “match” or a “miss”. AndyBot uses this feedback as part of his AI algorithm to continue to deliver more targeted opportunities. AndyBot acts as an additional team member to reduce the amount of time and resources required to find the ideal tender. He is able to identify “lots” (large contracts broken up into parts more accessible to SMEs), sub-contracting opportunities, and contact information that foster early engagement, providing SMEs with better access to opportunities they can actually win. Our user interface is simple and fun, allows unlimited access, an is available with a low-cost monthly subscription.
What is the end result for our customers?
We understand the value of good data – AndyBot is the resource to find it for you – the more you use him, the smarter he gets at positioning you to win more business. SMEs can access published contracts from a myriad of sources. The TenderHood isn’t focused on alerting SMEs to all those opportunities – we help our customers find the RIGHT opportunities – saving them time, resources, and money in the process.
